FEBRUARY 2004

WHAT IS ON

From sun scorched Andalucian Hills to Lancaster' moors, Howard Haigh & Friends offer music and songs from around the world - covering Rumbas, Tangos, Gypsy, Afro-Cuban, Jazz/Blues, and Celtic, all held together by the unique LAVA style. Stunning musicianship in an exhilarating performance - filled with warmth, humour, stories, exotic instruments, juggling, props and spontaneity! Although the focus is on guitars, the show includes a good many other sounds: accordion, saxophone, drums, harmonicas, boxes, clapping and musical cheeks! (as seen on Blue Peter) all ingredients for a truly memorable night out. To quote the band "We don't just sit there and sulkily play our instruments!"
