WHAT IS ON

Tragic, uplifting, painful and passionate, Duet for One, is another thought-provoking classic from Freerange following Absence, Spoonface Steinberg and Oleanna.

The spirit and power of music pervades this tragedy of Stephanie, a world-class violinist who can never play again. Learning to cope with the debilitating illness Multiple Sclerosis, Stephanie reluctantly unfolds her life to her straight talking psychiatrist with astonishing results.

Tom Kempinski's play, inspired by the tragedy of the cellist Jacqueline du Pré is, above all, unforgettable. Freerange Theatre Company has gained a reputation for taking some of the finest pieces of drama to rural audiences, and this is no exception.
